The Georgetown Train Station is a former PRR station in Georgetown, DE. It was built in 1892 in response to the growing demand for passenger service on the Delmarva Peninsula. Although passenger service ended in 1949, the station was used as an office for freight and other railroad service until 1972. It was bought by the Historic Society in 1996 and was restored in 2003. It now serves as a museum and hosts other town events.
