I'm a big CNJ person and I've seen plenty of pictures of Fanwood Station to know that it required a visit. So, it was a bit ironic that the NJ Transit EL heritage unit appeared on trackage that was once the bustling CNJ mainline out to Allentown and Scranton. Although EL did run a joint freight train over this trackage, no EL commuter trains passed over through here. Nevertheless, it was a great catch for my first time at this station. Here, it's on the rear end pushing the eastbound out of the station.
