The trackside view of the CB&Q Railroad Skidmore Depot that was built in 1908 to replace the original depot that burned down that year. The Depot provided passenger service for the city of Skidmore, MO until 1955 when the service was discontinued. The rail line saw freight service up until 1977 when that was ended, as well. The Depot is now in the process of becoming a museum and, although this picture was taken in the summer of 2012, I don't know if this has happened yet.
