The Illinois Southern #: 1901 is a U18B was the CSX #: 1901 before being painted in the paint scheme of the fictitious railroad and wrecked in the movie, "The Fugitive". The scene involved crashing this unit and another unit (not pictured) into a prison bus to stage the escape scene for the movie's character Richard Kimble. It turned into one of the most realistic and awesome train derailment scenes as no CGI was used to film it. Only real railroad equipment was used. Here, it is derelict with a piece of the prison bus (in the background) alongside the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad near Bryson City, NC in the summer of 2017.
