Finally, with daylight almost at an end, we can now appreciate the CP Holiday Train in its full glory. After pulling out of Menands, the next stop was Mechanicville. Although I was fairly certain that any of my after dark motion shots would come out like garbage, I was completely surprised that this photo came out so well. Here is the CP Holiday Train as it crosses the Mohawk River in Waterford, NY. I'm glad that I took my chances with this shot and didn't go straight to Mechanicville. My gamble and patience in the freezing cold paid off as I thought this photo would be nothing more than a blurred mess.
