The Santa Fe Depot in Guthrie, OK, was built in 1903 and is the second station to serve the city. It served as a passenger station, restaurant, crew quarters, and office building until 1979 when Amtrak discontinued the, "Lone Star", train. It is currently a restaurant and there have been plans for Amtrak to restore passenger service to this station via the, "Heartland Flyer", but that has yet to materialize.
