Though there were some other things I intended to see on this day, the last day of my trip was almost exclusively to see pure KCS units on the Heavener Sub-Division. After a few minute wait at my first location, I was excited then disappointed when I saw the first train was a southbound loaded hopper train.....led by BNSF pumpkins! A little while later, I was rewarded with a consolation prize as a KCS unit was buried in the middle of a CP/BNSF unit trio of helpers as they crossed the Illinois River near Watts, OK.
