The Norman Santa Fe Depot was built in 1909 and served as a passenger station until the Amtrak, "Lone Star" (nee AT&SF, "Texas Chief") was discontinued in October of 1979. It has now been re-purposed as a community art center but also serves the Amtrak, "Heartland Flyer", which began in 1999.
