The, "Samoborcek", was a rail service that connected Zagreb and Samobor. It ran from 1901 and was discontinued in 1979, when the service was replaced by buses. All the surviving infrastructure was dismantled and all but one of the trains were scrapped. This is the only surviving example and it has seen better days. It was formerly on display at the Samoborcek Park where it was neglected and vandalized. It was removed from that location and currently sits at the public works facility near the main bus station in Samobor, Croatia. It sadly waits for restoration work though it is uncertain when this would happen as there is no funding. This photo is not the best, but I had to do some trespassing into this facility on 08.20.25.

Sad "Samoborcek".
