A manifest freight train rolls alongside the Numata River on the San-Yo Line in Mihara, Japan. Though it is also a passenger train corridor, the Japan Freight Railway Company operates freight service for approximately 332 miles on this line to connect the port of Kitakyushu with Kobe. I got lucky enough to catch this scene as my plane was on final approach to Hiroshima Airport in May 2016.
