This picture was taken exactly 32 years ago from the day I uploaded it here. It was taken on 2/7/89 by my late grandfather. At that time, he was working different jobs either in Oak Island, E-Port, or Bayonne. Even though the background doesn't give much clues to the location, it doesn't look like Bayonne Yard, so I would say it is either in Oak Island or E-Port. My grandfather was a railroader for just shy of 50 years and it was because of him that my siblings and I are railfans. Even though he didn't really care much for photography, he would occasionally take a pic or two of the power for our amusement. This was scanned from an 8x10 original, so the picture is a bit beat up.
