Another bad quality Polaroid photo from that same Armed Forces Day sometime between 91-93. The event was not only limited to the armed forces as it drew visiting equipment from all the places that were involved with the MOTBY. Conrail provided the freight service to the base, via a track that branched off the Bayonne Industrial Track, so it was one of the companies that provided a display, that day. In this case, it was an Operation Lifesaver display, brought in by a clean and shiny Conrail Quality #: 6144, a C40-8W that was relatively new at the time this picture was taken. This was the first time that I ever saw a wide-cab unit as it was around this time that the safety cabs started becoming standard.
