On any other occasion, I would be happy to see a monster freight train roll by. On this occasion, it was one big unhappy photo f--k. As seen in my earlier photo, RVL train #: 5526 had a very important person in the cab car. I was glad to catch him in the cab car but I was especially looking forward to photographing him in the engine on his return trip out west. A distant headlight on the inner track put an end to that, as this monster freight came crawling by with only ten minutes to spare before his arrival. Well, that photo was not meant to be as this train proceeded to slow down, even more, as it passed. The sudden sound of an approaching westbound and a good sounding of the horn, from the other side of the train, told me that I missed the opportunity. Oh well, next time.
