Raritan River Railroad Freight Station.

That tiny forlorn freight station is the Raritan River Railroad Station and is the last surviving station of that shortline railroad. It was built in the early 1900's and had a prosperous run as a passenger station before the effects of the Great Depression took their toll on the railroad service through the area. With the exception of a brief period during World War 2, the railroad service through this station never recovered.
