Although King's Cross is more well-known, due to Harry Potter, right across the street is the more beautiful and ornate St. Pancras International Station. It was opened on October 1, 1868 by the Midland Railway. Since then, it has been rebranded as an international station as it is now the terminus for the international Eurostar train with service to the Netherlands, France, and Belgium. It is also the terminus of intercity trains as well as the Thameslink cross-London trains. This view is from the southwest corner.
