The sign for the Hatch Public Library in Hatch, NM gives you a hint as to how this building started its life. Though I couldn't find much information on the building, according to the sign it was built in 1935 for the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad. Along the way, it was converted into the library when passenger service ended sometime after World War 2. I think it was relocated from its original location and now stands down the street from the railroad tracks.
