Although I posted photos of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad Depot, this is the actual Denver & Rio Grande Western Station that served the city of Antonito, CO. It was built by the railroad in 1880 and served until passenger service was discontinued in 1951. After this, the station sat vacant and suffered from vandalism and neglect until 2016 when it saved by numerous local organizations and renovation work began to restore it.
